It's so fun using candid photography to capture people's personalities and relationships. I love what I do!

 

I am accepting appointments for candid outdoor shoots of high school seniors, children/babies, family groups, casual events, and engagement photos. For only $195 plus tax you get a 1-hour shoot ($245 plus tax for 1.5 hours) and a free CD from which you can make your own prints!This rate includes complimentary touch-ups on three of your favorite images. Custom prints are also available. 

 

Eden Prairie Art Crawl, September 25-26 (Sat. and Sun.)

During this juried event, visitors stop by as they make the rounds from the Eden Prairie Art Center to various artists' homes and studios. The brochure will be coming out soon, and this year even more artists will be participating. Let me know if you'd like directions to my house--I'd love to see you!

 

Minnesota Harvest Horse Festival Website

This St. Paul festival is "the country's longest-running, indoor and exclusively hunter/jumper horse show." In 2008 I took photos at the show, many of which are now being used on their website. http://www.minnesotaharvesthorseshow.com/ There are several layers, so poke around on their website a bit. A portion of this show's proceeds benefits "We Can Ride," a nonprofit volunteer-based organization which uses therapeutic horseback riding to serve children and adults with disabilities.

 

Fredrikson & Byron, P.A./Lawyers & the Louvre

"Hey, Baby!" (bottom) is one of four Blue Leaf framed prints purchased a few years ago by Fredrikson to adorn their conference room walls. When Fredrikson sponsored the Louvre exhibit at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, they also highlighted the creativity of some of staff members, including quilters, a glider pilot, a ski jumper, an actor, and a couple of photographers! Eden Prairie Magazine/Southwest Metro Magazine/Photo Contest

Blue Leaf images have been published as part of Eden Prairie Magazine's "Last Glance" feature for several years (see photos on this page). As the magazine now transitions into Southwest Metro Magazine, they are running a photo contest, and the publicity features two Blue Leaf photos.
